The Orioles hosted the Quincy Middle School Invitational on May 14.  There were ten schools in attendance, including Bronson, Concord, Reading, Homer, Springport, Jonesville, Union City, Maple Valley, and Stockbridge.  Our athletes competed fiercely, bringing home a first place trophy for the girls, while the boys ended the night in third.  

The invite medaled top three.  Some of the top competitors for the night were:

Noah Kelly - first in the 70m, tied for second in high jump

Riley Myers - first in the 70m, second in the 200m, first in long jump

Grant Longardner - third in the 400m, third in 55 hurdles, third in 200 hurdles

Alexis Reif - first in the mile

Elizabeth Longardner - first in the 200 hurdles

Addison Hasten - first in the shot put

Mayson VanLue - third in the shot put

Tristin Brewer - first in the shot put

Ashlyn Fickle - second in high jump

Layla Benard - three way tie for third in pole vault 

Mackenzie Sattison - three way tie for third pole vault 

Benny Travelbee - second in pole vault 

The Orioles will finish up their season at the Regional Meet in Bangor on May 16.
