The MS Track and Field crew flew the nest on May 16, heading to Bangor for Quincy’s first ever MS Regional Meet. In total, 19 boys and girls were able to compete at the elite event that hosted a total of 25 schools. At the end of the night, the Quincy girls took home third and the boys, sixth. All athletes for the night deserve some recognition:
Individual Events
Noah Kelley - first in the 70m, 12 in high jump
Tristin Brewer - first in shot put, 18th in the 70m
Bryson Estlow - 8th in the 100m
Riley Myers - 8th in the 70m, 5th in the 200m, 7th in long jump
Gracin Hemker - 31st in 70m, 33rd in the 100m
Caden Norris - 16th in the 200m
Cashton Carpenter - 24 in the 200m
Grant Longardner - 10th in the 400m, 9th in the 55H, 7th in the 200H
Elizabeth Longardner - 1st in the 200H, 4th in the 400m, 9th in 55H
Carter Feltner - 8th in the 800m
Alexis Reif - second in the mile
Benny Travelbee - 8th in the 2 mile, second in pole vault
Addison Hasten - first in shot put
Mayson VanLue - 5th in shot put
Ashlyn Fickle - 3rd in high jump
Kora Timmons - 6th in high jump
Mackenzie Sattison - second in pole vault
Hunter Walker - 13th in the mile
Relays
Boys 4x100 took 4th place
Caden Norris, Cashton Carpenter, Bryson Estlow, Noah Kelley
Girls 4x100 took 12th place
Taylor Lewis, Ashlyn Fickle, Gracin Hemker, Mackenzie Sattison
Benny Travelbee also beat his own school record in the pole vault with a new clearance of 10’. Congratulations to Benny!!
