Quincy CC ran at the State Finals at MIS on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024
Updated on 11/02/2024 | Jim Crabbs
Quincy CC had two individuals that qualified to run at the State Cross Country Finals on Saturday, November 2nd,2024. Junior Chayse Jensen was the solo boy that represented Quincy in the State Finals. Chayse finished 178th with a time of 17:44.8. This was his second fastest time of the season....11 seconds off his PR. Chayse said it was so hard to pass because there were just so many other runners running right next to him. Senior Lainey Yearling was the sols girl that represented Quincy in the State Finals. Lainey finished 128th with a time of 21:11.8. This was Lainey's 3rd fastest time of the season. I believe Lainey's place in the State Finals, along with her GPA has qualified her to make the Academic All-State Team for the 2024 Cross Country Season. The official Academic All-State list will come out in a few weeks.
