Quincy CC ran at the Hilldale Inv on Wed. August 30th

Quincy CC ran at the Hillsdale Inv on Wednesday, August 30th.  The Boys team finished 8th and girls team finished fourth.  This was our first race of the season.  It was a good race to see where we are at.  Two of our girls were top 20 finishers:  Brookelyn Parker finished 16th (medalist) and Kendyl Musielewiez finished 11th (medalist).  None of our boys were medalist but we are showing a lot of improve from the first week of practice.

Quincy CC ran at the Springport Invit on Wednesday, September 6th.  The Girls' Team finished 3rd (Trophy) and the Boys' Team finished 8th.  Eight girls earned medals (Kendyl Musielewiez-5th; Brookelyn Parker -8th; Sadie Miller -9th; Clare Robertson - 11th; Brooke McVicker - 22nd; Elizabeth Craig - 28th; Peyton Procter - 29th; and Libby Butchart - 30th).  For the Boys: Chayse Jensen was the sold medallist finishing  25th.

Quincy CC ran at the very competitive Lakeview Inv on Saturday, September 9th.  The Girls' Team finished 3rd and the Boys' Team finished 8th.  Four Varsity Girls ran new PR's (Kendyl Musielewiez, Brookelyn Parker, Brooke McVicker , and Raylee Fulton).  Charlotte Crabbs, Sadie Miller, Libby Butchart, and Elizabeth Craig all ran their Season's Best Time.  Two JV Girl Runners also ran a new PR (Isabelle Marske, and Danica Swift).  In the Boys's Varsity race, two boys ran new PR's (Eddie Miller, and Coy Wood).  Nathan Richer ran his Season's Best Time.

Quincy CC at JPEC Falcon Invitational at Ella Sharp Park in Jackson

Quincy CC ran at the JPEC Falcon Invitational on Friday, September 15th.  The Girls' Team finished 1st (Trophy) and the Boys' Team finished 3rd.  We had 13 of our girls earn medals and 4 of our girls run  new PR's  (Kathy Parchke, Raylee Fulton, Peyton Procter, and Danica Swift).  We had 4 of our boys earn medals and both Chayse Jensen, and Eddie Miller ran new PR's.  Great Job CC!!

Quincy CC ran at the Parchment Invitational on Tuesday, September 19th.  The Girls' Team placed 3rd out of 9 full teams and the Boys' Team did not place because we only ran four runners.  

Girls:  Three girls earned three medals: Kendyl Musielewiez (7th); Brookelyn Parker (11th); and Sadie Miller (12th).  Two girls ran new PR's:  Kathy Parchke, and Raylee Fulton; and Two girls ran a Seasons Best Time: Sadie Miller, Kaylyn Brenner. 

Boys:  Three Boys ran new PR's: Chayse Jensen (he broke into the 19's); Coy Wood, and Payne Michael.  Good job CC.

Quincy CC ran at the Pittsford Inv on Saturday, September 23rd. 

The Girls: 

Freshmen/Sophomore Team finished first (trophy) and the whole Girls' Team finished 2nd overall (trophy).  Kendyl Musielewiez (medallist)  won the Freshmen/Sophomore race; Brookelyn Parker finished 3rd (medallist); Peyton Procter finished 9th (Medallist and ran a new PR); and Elizabeth Craig finished 10th (medallist).  In the Junior/Senior: Sadie Miller finished 7th (medallist); Kathy Parchke finished 12th (medallist and ran a new PR); Libby Butchart finished 21st; Raylee Fulton finished 23rd; Kaylyn Brenner finished 24th; Danica Swift ran 26th (running a new PR); and Abby Miller finished 30th.

The Boys:

In the Freshmen/Sophomore Race (no team score..only had four runners) the top 8 runners went the wrong way and ran an additional mile which included one of our runners.  Eddie Miller finished 16th (medallist); Coy Wood finished 20th (medallist); Michael Payne finished 24th; and Chayse Jensen finished 31.  We just had one boy in the Junior/Senior Race.  Nathan Richer finished 13th (medallist).

Quincy CC at Readings Big 8 Jamboree on Tuesday, Sept. 26th

Quincy CC ran at the 1st of 4 Big 8 Jamborees on Tuesday, Sept. 26th.  Reading hosted the meet which was run at Kimble Camp.  The Girls' Team finished 3rd and the Boys' Team finished 6th.

Quincy CC ran at eh Otsego Bulldog Invit on Saturday, Sept. 30th.  The Girls' Team finished 2nd (trophy) and the Boys' Team finished 11th.

Girls:  Three girls earned medals (Kendyl Musielewiez, 5th; Brookelyn Parker, 10th; and Sadie Miller, 11th).  Six of our girls ran new PR's today: (Kendyl Musielewiez, Brookelyn Parker, Sadie Miller, Kathy Parchke, Libby Butchart, and Danica Swift).  

Boys:  Three boys ran new PR's: (Nathan Richer, Eddie Miller, and Coy Wood).

Quincy CC ran at the 2nd of 4 Big 8 Jamborees on Tuesday, Oct. 3rd

Quincy CC ran at the 2nd of 4 Big 8 Jamborees on Tuesday, Oct 3rd....hosted by Maple Valley HS.  Quincy Girls finished 2nd today (moving up from 3rd place) and are currently in 2nd place overall in the Big 8 Standings.  The Boys finished 5th today (moving up from 6th place) and are currently in 5th place overall in the Big 8 Standings.  We had three girls finish in the top 10: Kendyl Musielewiez, 6th; Brookelyn Parker, 7th; and Sadie Miller, 8th.  Finishing out the top 7: Kathy Parchke, 12th; Libby Butchart, 19th; Elizabeth Craig, 22nd; and Raylee Fulton, 25th.  For the Boys: Chayse Jensen, 13th; Nathan Richer, 26th; Coy Wood, 34th; Eddie Miller, 35th, and Michael Payne, 38th.

Quincy CC ran at the Hudson Booster Inv. on Saturday, October 7th.  the Girls' Team finished 6th against some very large schools and the Boys' Team did not place because we did not run a full team.   We had four girls earn medals:  (which is very difficult to do against all the large schools we ran against):  Kendyl Musielewiez (15); Brookelyn Parker (19th); Sadie Miller (28th); and Kathy Parchke (46th).  We had several run new PR's or Season's Best (SB) times on a very challenging course (a lot of big hills): New PR's:Girls: Brookelyn Parker; Raylee Fulton; and Danica Swift; Boys: Chayse Jensen; Nathan Richer; and Coy Wood. New SB: Elizabeth Craig; and Abby Miller.

Quincy CC ran at the 3rd of 4 Big 8 Jamborees hosted by Concord.

Quincy CC ran at the 3rd of 4 Big 8 Jamborees hosted by Concord.  Quincy Girls's finished 2nd again today  and are currently in 2nd place overall in the Big 8 Conference Standings.  The Boys' Team placed 3rd today (moving up from 5th last week) and are still in 5th place overall in the Big 8 Standings.  

Girls:  We had three girls finished in the Top 10: Kendyl Musielewiez, 6th; Brookelyn Parker, 7th; and Sadie Miller, 8th.  There were 3 girls that ran new PR's: Elizabeth Craig; Rylee Fulton; and Danica Swift.   Abby Miller ran her SB (Season's Best Time).

Boys:  All five of our Boys ran new PR's:  Chayse Jensen; Nathan Richer; Eddie Miller; Coy Wood; and Michael Payne.  

Both teams ran well today.  We have a lot of kids take off a lot of time in the race today.

Quincy CC ran at the Sturgis Invitational on Saturday, October 14th.  The Girls' Teams finished 2nd (Trophy) and the boys' team finished 7th. We had four girls earn medals:  Kendyl Musielewiez - 3rd; Brookelyn Parker - 5th...and ran a new PR; Sadie Miller  7th; and Kathy Parchke.  The Boys' Team ran well, considering the weather.  It was raining pretty hard during their race.

Quincy CC ran at the Final Big 8 Jamboree hosted by Quincy. 

The Girls' Team finished 2nd and they placed 2nd overall in the Big 8 for the 2023 Season.  Three Quincy Girls made the All Big 8 Conference Team:  Kendyl Musielewiez finished 6th; Brookelyn Parker finished 7th; and Sadie Miller finished 8th.  Brooke McVicker ran a new PR and Abby Miller ran here SB.

The Boys' Team placed 5th  and finished 5th overall in the Big 8 for the 2023 Season.  Four boys ran new PR's: Eddie Miller, Nathan Richer, Coy Wood, and Michael Payne.

Quincy CC ran at Gobles Little Guys Invitational on Saturday, October 21st.  The Girls' Team took home a second place trophy and the Boys' Team did not place ...only ran four runners.

Girls:  Nine girls earned medals (Kendyl Musielewiez, 5th; Brookelyn Parker, 6th; Sadie Miller, 8th; Kathy Parchke, 15th; Libby Butchart, 31st; Elizabeth Craig, 33rd; Peyton Procter, 35th, Brook McVicker, 38th; and Danica Swift, 50th).  Two girls ran new PR's: Kathy Parchke, and Peyton Procter.

Boys:  All four boys that ran earned medals ( Chayse Jensen, 7th; Eddie Miller, 35th; Michael Payne, 38th; and Nathan Richer, 39th).  Both Chayse Jensen and Michael Payne ran new PR's.  Chayse broke into the 18's for the first time and Michael ran in the low 21's.

Both teams will be running Regionals this Friday at Ella Sharp Park in Jackson starting at 3 PM.

Quincy CC ran at Regionals at Ella Sharp Park in Jackson.  The Girls' Team finished 8th and the Boys' Team finished 14th.  We had several of our top seven  on the Girls' Team not run today due to sickness and injuries.  Kendyl Musielewicz was the solo medalist...finishing 12th and making the All Region Team.  Kendyl's place qualified her to run at the State Finals next Saturday at MIS.  Senior Sadie Miller finished 22nd, just missing being a State Qualifier by 1 place which was 1 second faster than her time.  One runner ran a new PR on a very challenging course:  Isabelle Marske.  On the Boys' Team, we ran good but not great today.  No new PR's and no State Qualifiers.  The Boys' Team gained a lot of experience this season.  All the Varsity Boys were new this year except for one senior, Nathan Richer.  Both teams really improved their times as the season went on.  A lot of good times were had by everyone, as these teams developed a very strong bonding.
