Boys: We had three boys medal today and qualify to run in the State Finals next Saturday, November 7th at 9:30 AM at MIS. Rhett Reif finished 4th, Erik Butchart finished 9th, and Jacob Reif finished 11th. All three of them ran great races. Jacob ran a new PR.
Girls: Avery Rufenacht ran her second best cross country race of her running career today. She finished 20th, just missing going to the State Finals by three places (about 7 seconds). Her time today was her Season's Best time. Avery put a lot of heart into her race today beating her previous Season's Best time by almost 30 seconds on a very challenging course.
Quincy CC at State Finals

Three Quincy Boys qualified to run in the D 3 State Finals today (Saturday, November 7, 2020). Jacob Reif ran a new PR today,…taking off almost 20 seconds from his old PR. Rhett Reif ran well but he was suffering from a sprained ankle so he did not place as well as he wanted. Senior, Erik Butchart ran his final High School Cross Country race. He said to me that it was an alright race but he had to spend a lot of time jumping around other runners which got him out of his racing mode. Erik has been a great leader for the younger runners. He will be greatly missed.
