Girls 8th Volleyball vs. Lakewood High School

Orioles Win: 8 - 2
In a tough match of six teams Quincy struggled to get started in pool play losing the first two sets. From there they were able to pull it together with their serves and win the next three which got them a first round bye in tournament play. Winning their first set of matches in tournament play they would have to take on Hopkins who was undefeated at this point. Winning the first one and losing the second took them to a third match where Quincy would squeak out the win by two points.

Orioles Lose: -
Quincy was able to take home the W on Wednesday nights match against homer. Winning the first two then giving one away to homer in the third set. The team played well and is growing in thier skill level and starting to mesh well together.

Quincy fought hard but fell short against Reading. Games were close. Reading won the first two games as Quincy takes the third. Quincy was up in the fourth 22-20 but came up short. Reading took the fifth.

Orioles Lose: -
Quincy 8th grade girls traveled to Union City to play in a tournament. Quincy was able to walk away with the runner up trophy. Taking on three different opponents they managed to take a game against each rival and two from union city which pushed them far enough ahead to claim 2nd place.

Orioles Lose: 0 - 5
Quincy went to Hanover to play their first games of the season. Although they fought hard they came up short. Losing to Addison in the first two games, then east Lansing where it was very close.
