Boys/Girls Varsity Track vs. Multiple Opponents

On Tuesday night, the boys varsity track team traveled to Olivet to compete against Olivet and Vermontville Maple Valley. The team had a solid first meet, defeating Vermontville Maple Valley but falling short to Olivet's large team. Some highlights of the evening include:
Ben Schreur took first place in both the 200m dash and high jump, Ashtyn Morris took first place in the shotput, Gabe Watson first place in discus, and Corey Turner first place in pole vault. The Orioles swept the 400m dash with Noah Pearson taking first place, Landen Kelley 2nd, and Cameron Barry taking 3rd. Also to note: Carter McClellan took 2nd place in discus, Tae'Sean Bodley 2nd place in the high jump, and Ethan Hollister 2nd place in long jump.
The team will travel to Coldwater Saturday to compete in the Branch County Invitational.
