Quincy girls soccer opened the season with a 5-0 win over Onsted.
Kalie Glei put Quincy on the board at the 6 min mark. Quincy would maintain possession throughout the first half, but was not able to capitalize as the Onsted keeper made some good saves to keep the game close. The score would remain 1-0 at the half.
The second half it was all Quincy as Kalie Glei got her second goal on the night to put Quincy up 2-0. 3 minutes later Abigail Harmon scored with an assist from Sami Hollenbaugh.
Lexus Hinds scored on a corner kick opportunity from Kalie Glei at the 20 min mark and
Sami Hollenbaugh got the final goal on the night assisted by Sade Harges with 5 min left in the game.
It was a total team effort which led
Quincy to outshoot Onsted 12-2 on the night.
The girls will be back at it Monday night when they host Comstock.
