The Middle School track team competed in the Davis Medley Relay Meet in Hillsdale on a chilly April 22.  Teams competed in field events and mixed distance relay runs.  Some of the highlights from the meet:

Top Threes

Co-ed 4x400 team of Isaiah Staggs, Brookelyn Parker, Elizabeth Craig, and Carson Haylett placed third.

The boys 100-100-200-400m relay team of Clayton Benson, Wesley Wasikowski, Alex Dunn, and Noah Rufenacht placed third.

The girls 1200-400-800-1600m relay team of Kendyl Musielewicz, Piper Craig, Clare Robertson, and Brookelyn Parker placed third.

Top threes and PRs

Shot Put

Ethan Pearson took first at the event with a throw of 40’4”.  This was also a PR for Ethan.

Conner Guthrie took third at the event with a throw of 34’0”, which was also a PR for Conner.

Hayden Peters had a PR with a throw of 24’6”.

Olivia Davenport took first at the meet for girls with a throw of 28’6”.  This was a PR for Olivia.

Kyha Brewer took third with a throw of 27’9”, which was also a PR for Kyha.

Makayla Metz had a PR, as well, with a throw of 24’3”.

High Jump

Clayton Benson took first in the meet with a jump of 5’1”.  This was also a PR for Clayton

Pole Vault

Both Austin Preston and Tyler Miner had PRs in the pole vault with a vault of 6’.

Piper Craig took first in the pole vault for girls with a vault of 5’.

Long Jump

Alex Dunn took second in the boys long jump with a jump of 15’7”.  This was a PR for Alex.

Hudson Gray also had a PR with a jump of 11’5.5”.

Avery Massey had a PR in the girls long jump with a jump of 10’7.75”.
