Fourteen teams headed to Union City Thursday, April 28 for the Union City Invite.  While chilly, the weather cooperated and we had a great night.  The boys team took 6th place overall and the girls took 5th.  Some of the highlights of the night include:

Long Jump

Drew Neusbaum had a PR with a jump of 14’1”.

Avery Massey had a PR with a jump of 10’10.5”.

Pole Vault

Austin Preston had a PR of 6’6”.

High Jump

Clayton Benson took 2nd place at the meet with a jump of 5’4”.  This was a PR for Clayton.

Shot Put

Ethan Pearson took 1st place at the meet with a throw of 41’.5”.  This was a PR for Ethan.

Conner Guthrie took 4th place at the meet with a throw of 34’7”,  This was a PR for Conner.

Olivia Davenport took 1st place at the meet with a throw of 30’4”.  This was a PR for Olivia.  

Relays

The boys 4X800 relay team of Jax S., Eddie M., Garrett H., and Andrew D. had a PR of 12:53.86.

The boys 4x200 relay team of Alex D., Drew N., Conner G., and Noah R. had a PR of 2:02.57.

The boys 4x100 relay team of Clayton B., Ethan P., Micah G., and Wes W. had a PR of 51.94 and took 3rd place at the meet.

The girls 4x400 relay team of Clare R., Faith R., Lilly G., and Peyton P. had a PR of 5:53.50.

The girls 4x100 relay team of Olivia D., Avery M., Kendyl M., and Kali K. had a PR of 1:00.02 and took 4th place at the meet.

Hurdles

Brookelyn Parker took 2nd place in the 200 hurdles with a time of 34.38.  This was a PR for Brookelyn.

Clayton Benson took 1st place in the 55 hurdles with a time of 9.1.  This was a PR for Clayton.

Brookelyn Parker took 2nd place in the 55 hurdles with a time of 10.78.  

Distance runs

Eddie Miller had a PR of 14:53.27 in the 3200 meter run.

James Craig had a PR of 16:17.4 in the 3200 meter run.

Andrew Dunn had a PR in the 1600 meter run with a time of 6:29.97

Hudson Gray had a PR in the 1600 meter run with a time of 6:44.88.

Brookelyn Parker took 2nd in the 1600 meter run with a time of 6:09.55.  This was a PR for Brookelyn.

Clare Robertson had a PR in the 1600 meter run with a time of 6:51.55.

Andrew Dunn had a PR in the 800 meter run with a time of 3:11.81.

Garrett Haylett had a PR in the 800 meter run with a time of 3:21.01.

Kendyl Musielewicz took 2nd in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:44.39.  This was a PR for Kendyl.

Sprints

Micah Groves had a PR in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:03.69.

Kendyl Musielewicz had a 4th place run and a PR in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:11.61

Hudson Gray had a PR in the 200 meter dash with a time of 32.40.

Peyton Proctor had a PR in the 200 meter dash with a time of 36.82.

Kali Kugler had a PR in the 100 meter dash with a time of 15.54.

Ethan Pearson had a PR in the 70 meter dash with a time of 9.82.

Kali Kugler had a PR in the 70 meter dash with a time of 11.24.

Avery Massey had a PR in the 70 meter dash with a time of 11.31.

Keep your eyes on these middle school athletes!  We have several at the top of the Big 8 and several that are zeroing in on school records.  Some are placed in the top of state stats!!  Let’s go Q!!
