Quincy Baseball races by EastJackson11-0 in season opener no hitter. Jr. Rider Schmachtenberger led three pitchers who combined on the 7 inning no hitter. Schmachtenberger pitched 4 effective innings while striking out 9 Trojan hitters. Karsen Maurer pitched into the 6 th inning and Dreden Feltner finished the game for the O’s. The strong pitching performance overshadowed the offense that collected 14 hits So catcher Grant Holroyd, Jr Davin George, Jr Brady Mescher, So Ethan Copas and Schmachtenberger had multiple hits. The Orioles were also flawless in the field not committing an error. Holroyd had 13 chances in the field, including a back pick of a Trojan runner at 2nd. 

In game 2 the Orioles stormed out in front with an 8 run 1st inning and coasted to a game shortened 12-1 win. Copas and Jr Hunter Tinervia carried the load on the pitchers mound while Jr Riley Miner, Fr Brennen Allman and Copas led the offense with two hits each. Miner, Copas, and Maurer had run scoring 2b’s and Allman had 2 RBI
