The 8th grade Boys basketball team returned from Thanksgiving with a convincing 53-22 win over the visiting Reading Rangers on Monday night. Nine Orioles scored in the game. Noah Kelley led the way with a double double scoring 16 points and hauling down 10 rebounds. He was a perfect 3 for 3 from the free line and drilled a long distance 3 pointer to close out the 1st half.
Starters Grant Longardner (8 points), Joe Gray (6 points), Bryson Estlow (5 points) and Tristian Brewer ( 4 points) helped the balanced scoring attack. Caden Norris and Benny Travelbee added 4 points each while Daniel Burrett scored 3 points and Jaylen Jones added a basket.
With the win the Orioles open the 2nd half of the season with the season sweep of the Rangers and return to the court on Wednesday at Concord.
