The 8th grade Boys Basketball team defended its home turf with a hard fought 61-45 victory against Bronson. The Orioles rebounded well and scored an amazing 28 2 point baskets in the game. Grant Longardner led the way with an incredible 24 points where he was 12- 15 shooting inside the arc. His athleticism was on full display as he raced up and down the court and recorded 5 steals. Noah Kelley also came up big scoring 18 points and hauling down 10 rebounds for a double double. Joe Gray again was good from his point guard spot scoring 11 points including a 4th quarter 3 point basket. He added 7 rebounds 4 assists and a steal while guarding the Viking top scoring threat. Benny Travelbee, Caden Norris, and Daniel Burritt also scored baskets for the Orioles and Tristin Brewer added a free throw. Bryson Estlow chipped in with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. With the win the Orioles move its record to 3-1 on the season and return to play on Wednesday at home vs Union City.
