Quincy’s Boys 8th grade Basketball team beat Jonesville 32-16
to advance to the final game of the Big 8 EarlyBird tournament on Saturday. Clayton Benson lead the way over the Comets with 19 points. Braylon Estlow was good from the point guard position while adding 3 points. Zeb Olson, Wesley Wasikowski, Hudson Gray and Kane Locke also scored for the Orioles.
In the championship game against Bronson the score was tied 20-20 with 3 minutes to go in the game before The Vikings pulled away for a 28-20 victory. Again Benson led the way with 12 points and Estlow and Olson added 4 each.
The Orioles return to play on Monday for their 1st home game vs UC.
