Boys 8th Basketball vs. Concord

The Quincy 8th grade boys were defeated by Concord 47-10 on Monday night. The O’s played a spirited game and recognized Liz Dillon, the coaches wife, who is dealing with ALS,Lou Gerhig Disease. The team sported Orange shirts. The outcome of the game was not as important as the courage and “attitude of gratitude” displayed by the young Orioles. Tonight’s lessons will serve well as they continue to grow as basketball players and teammates but more important as young adults who the community of Quincy can be proud of.
