The Quincy Golf team secured a share of the 2022 Big 8 Golf Championship Title with a 2nd place finish @ Wiffletree Golf Club This is the Orioles second Championship in as many seasons. They were led by Dave Milliman’s 3rd place finish, shooting a 92, Sam Sawyer placed 5th with a 95. Sawyer was named the Big 8 Conference MVP with the best average, just edging out Milliman by less than 1 stroke. He was also named to the All-Conference team. Riley Iwanicki placed 14th with a 107. Belle Neely and Chase Walters each carded a 111, this was Neely’s PR round of the year which posted her team points on the afternoon. Keegan Neely also competed for Quincy. Next week the O’s play in Regionals in South Haven.
