Boys Varsity Golf vs. Multiple Opponents

The Varsity Golf Team competed in the 2nd Big 8 Jamboree Hosted by Springport @ Burr Oak Golf Club in Parma. The O's extended their league lead with a 1st place finish with a team score of 192. This is a 12 stroke team score improvement from the last Jamboree. Medalist for the match was Sam Sawyer with a 39 to win by 6 strokes. Dave Milliman shot a 47 for a Top 5 finish and Riley Iwanicki and Derrick Newberry chipped in with a pair of 53's. Chase Walters and Hunter Scheidler also competed well in the varsity match. The Varsity team will be in action on Wednesday @ the East Jackson Invite and the next Big 8 Jamboree is Wednesday at Union City's Turtle Creek GC.
