The varsity boys' basketball team was on the road at Morenci, losing 53-27. The Orioles got off to a sloppy start and the Bulldogs took advantage, building a 16-4 lead after one quarter of play. Quincy showed some mettle and outscored Morenci 8-7 in the second quarter, leaving the score at 23-12--Morenci. The Bulldogs got the best of the Orioles in the third quarter, 15-10, resulting in a 38-22 lead for Morenci.
Ashtyn Morris scored 13 points and pulled down 5 rebounds; Andy McKnight had 5 points; Tre'Von Bodley chipped in with 4 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists; Ryan Kempter added 3 points; Blain Pish scored 2 points, had 2 rebounds, and 2 steals.
