Quincy hit the road for a matchup with Vermontville Maple Valley and returned with a hard-fought win, 44-43 in overtime. Down 1 point with one second remaining in regulation, junior Tre'Von Bodley was fouled. Bodley was at the line for a 1-and-1 and calmly sank the first shot to tie it up, 37-37. The second shot fell short, sending the game to overtime.

On the first possession of overtime, the Orioles executed a play, and Tae'Sean Bodley connected on a triple.Throughout overtime, several lead changes occurred. In the end, Quincy had the ball with 12.9 seconds remaining. Sam Sawyer hit Ashtyn Morris with a beautiful pass, leading to a Morris score, and ultimately securing the win for the Orioles. 

Quincy was led by Ashtyn Morris's double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds. Tae'Sean Bodley had one of his best games in a Quincy uniform, adding his own double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds. Tre'Von Bodley chipped in 8 points and 6 boards. Sam Sawyer, Landen Kelley, and Andy McKnight each added 2 points. Sawyer had 6 assists, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals in a strong floor game.The Orioles are 3-8 on the season. Quincy's next game is scheduled for Friday at home against Reading.
