Quincy went on the road to take on Bronson in a rivalry game, but came up short in a hard-fought contest, 51-41. The young Oriole squad played hard throughout the game. Bronson was up 24-20 at halftime in a nearly even contest. The third quarter was all Bronson, as they took it to the Orioles, 16-5 to push their lead to 40-25 after three quarters. Quincy gave great effort in the fourth quarter, outscoring Bronson 16-11.
The Orioles were led by Ashtyn Morris's 14 points, while Sam Sawyer added 9. Ryder Schmachtenberger had 6, Ta'Sean Bodley 5, and Tre'Von Bodley 4. Brandon Miner chipped in with 2, while Derrek Newberry had 1.
Quincy drops to 1-4 on the season. Their next game is at Springport on January 20th.
