The Orioles improve to 7-2 in the Big 8 and 10-3 overall.
Quincy prevailed, 53-52 over an upset-minded Springport team, in an exciting game! Quincy found themselves down 52-47 with just over two minutes remaining. The Orioles forced a few turnovers, and made some big plays at the end of the game. Matt Hagaman hit a big 3-pointer and Kyler Economou tire the game up with a short jumper. With the game tied, Springport ball, and about one minute left, Springport burned about 35 seconds off the clock. Suddenly, Economou stoke the ball, went in for a layup and was fouled. He split the crucial free throws, giving the Orioles the lead. Quincy forced the Spartans into a quick shot, Springport for the rebound, but William Dunn swatted away the shot to seal the victory!
