The 8th grade football hit the road tonight to play the Union City Chargers in Big Eight action. In a battle of wills, Quincy led 8-0 on a Noah Kelley TD, then a 2-point conversion pass from Joe Gray to Bryson Estlow. 

Quincy tacked on another touchdown on a long run by Noah Kelley, but the conversion failed, leaving the score at 14-0, Quincy. 

Kelley hit pay dirt for a third time in the game and Caden Norris rushed the ball in for the 2 points, making the score 22-0 in favor of Quincy. 

Union City answered with a touchdown and conversion, bringing the score to 22-8.

Noah Kelley scored another TD, after some impressive runs on the drive. The 2-point play was good by Noah, making the score 30-8. 

Grant Longardner had an amazing run on a cutback to score a TD. Grant ran the sweep into the end zone for the 2-point play. 

Tayte Waddell had a huge fumble return, carrying Chargers for extra yardage. Avery Crandall had an interception and a good return. Joe Gray picked off a pass, as did Longardner. 

Lewis Norton, Tristin Brewer, and Xander Wood had standout games as well. Daniel Burritt snapped the ball well tonight. All Orioles contributed to the win.
