The Orioles 7th grade football team went on the road to Maple Valley and raced out to a 22 - 0 lead and went on on to win 28-0 on Tuesday.
The Orioles took the opening kick and had a flawless 10 play drive resulting in a Seth VanStelle score. After a Lion turn over QB JJ Wright found a streaking Kale Dirchell for a 40 yrd score. The duo would connect again on two more pass scores for a total of 3 TD’s. Wright played a solid game leading the Oriole offense with 3 TD passes. Dirschell had over 100 yards in receiving yards. Gibson James rushed 10 times for 54 yards.
On defense the Orioles pitched the shut out with an intense and well developed scheme to stop the Loins outside game. Caleb Ruddick and Wright had interceptions while James, Ben Romaine , Luke Clancy, Colton Marquart, and Kolton Chapmen lead the Quincy tackling machine.
