The 8th grade football team played Napoleon in the last game of the season and beat them convincingly, 39-6. The Orioles hit on "big plays" all night, highlighted by great blocks,  long touchdown runs, breaking tackles, and running hard.

Wesley W. scored three touchdowns and two 2-pt. conversions. Clayton B.  rumbled for two long touchdown runs. Alex D. caught a 2-pt. conversion pass. Christian C. ran and passed for 2-pt. conversions. Luke P. made an extra point kick. 

The defense was stout after the Pirates' first drive, after making some adjustments. Lincoln F. and Ethan P., the "Smash Brothers", created havoc in the backfield all night. Drew N. intercepted two passes, leading the "No Fly Zone" Oriole defensive backs.

Quincy finished its season 4-2, the best record for QMS in at least seven years. The coaching staff is proud of each athlete, as they improved throughout the season.
