The Oriole Varsity team defeated The Union City Chargers 20-19 in overtime to improve to 2-0 in the Big 8 and 2-1 overall.
On offense Dalton’s Messenger connected with Blake Burkhart on a TD pass amd Evan Coon has a rushing TD in regulation. Chandler Locke scored the tying TD in OT and Hunter Watson connected on his second extra point of the game for the walk off win.
The defense created three turnovers on the night with Keegan Hoffman and Chandler Locke recovering fumbles and Dalton Messenger grabbing an interception inside the red zone.
The Orioles take on Reading in Reading next Friday at 7pm.
