Quincy traveled to Jax 60 to take on Hanover Horton in Varsity Bowling.
The Lady O's dropped baker one but battle back in baker 2 to secure 4 of 10 points. Singles action continued to go Quincy's way as they took 4 of 5 points and 4 more for game one totals. Scoring for Quincy was Jenica Kaser with a 144, Carlie McKinley with a 139, Torrance Swift with a 179, and Daylin Fuller with a 190. Allison Short added to the totals with a 161 game. Game two found the HH girls power back putting the Lady O's down early. The 5th frame was a turnaround point as the girls started to fight their way back. They would cruise on to a 21-9 victory with 3 Os scoring and taking overall pin count. Kaser shot a 184, McKinley a 187, and Short a 164 all scoring for the Orioles.
Boys action was all Orioles from the start. Racking up 10 points with impressive 203 and 180 bakers Quincy was off and rolling. Dylan Bean continued on his hot streak knocking down 219 to start singles. Brandt Neely hit a season high 225 only to be matched by Cody Neusbaum in game 2. Also scoring for the Os were Brody Glei with 182. Quincy went on to win 18-12.
Quincy will take 7 boys and 7 girls to the Cascade Clash on Sunday at Jax 60. Action starts at 9am as the Quincy girls look to continue their push to the top and the boys look to repeat as champs of the baker tournament.
