Quincy Cross Country competed at the Pittsford Invitational on Saturday, September 26, with the Orioles’ boys team capturing the overall team championship while also winning both grade-level races. The Quincy boys earned the overall championship and first-place team trophy, finishing first in the combined scoring of the 9th-10th and 11th-12th grade races. The Orioles also won the 9th-10th grade race and 11th-12th grade race, earning first-place trophies in both divisions. Quincy had seven medalists on the boys’ side. Nathan Dunn led the 9th-10th grade race with a second-place finish, followed by Nolan King in seventh and Jack Miller in 15th. In the 11th-12th grade race, Carter Feltner captured first place, Hunter Walker finished third, Coy Wood placed 10th and Isaac Lee finished 16th. The Quincy girls finished as the overall runners-up, earning a second-place team trophy, while also claiming the championship in the 9th-10th grade race. The girls recorded six medalists. Bailey Porter won the 9th-10th grade race, while Claire Carpenter finished ninth with a new personal record and Lily Neubecker placed 10th with a new PR. In the 11th-12th grade race, Peyton Proctor finished eighth, Clare Robertson was ninth and Cali Richards placed 13th. The Pittsford Invitational provided another strong team performance for the Orioles as both Quincy squads continued their 2026 season. They next will head to Springport for a Big 8 Jam on Tuesday.
