The Quincy Lady Orioles turned in another strong performance Thursday night, defeating Bronson 7-1 on Senior Night to remain unbeaten in Big 8 Conference play. Quincy wasted little time getting on the board as Elizabeth Woodward scored early to give the Orioles the momentum. The offense continued to pressure Bronson throughout the night behind a big performance from Laura Bostic, who recorded a hat trick with three goals. Kenzi Maynard added two goals, while senior captain Ciaira Paul also found the back of the net. The Lady Orioles controlled play from start to finish, with the defense limiting scoring chances and keeping the action on Bronson’s side of the field for most of the match. At halftime, seniors Ciaira Paul and Olivia Davenport were recognized as part of Senior Night festivities. Both seniors have played an important role in the program through their leadership, dedication, and commitment to Quincy soccer. With the win, Quincy improves to 10-4 overall and a perfect 8-0 in conference play. The Lady Orioles return to action Monday when they travel to Pennfield.
