Girls Soccer Defeats Maple Valley to Secure Big 8 Title

Quincy closed out an undefeated conference season in impressive fashion Thursday night, defeating Maple Valley 9-1 to secure Back to Back Big 8 Conference Championships. Quincy’s offense was firing from the start, led by Laura Bostic with four goals and one assist. Kenzie Maynard added three goals and three assists in another strong all-around performance, helping Quincy control the pace throughout the match. Olivia Carpenter and Clare Carpenter each added a goal as Quincy continued to create scoring chances with strong passing and pressure in the attacking third. The team also received contributions across the field from Victoria Francis, Olivia Davenport, and Elizabeth Woodward, with Woodward recording an assist. Quincy kept steady defensive pressure throughout the match and limited Maple Valley opportunities while controlling possession for much of the game. Olivia Davenport and Bre Brown held down in goal throughout the match. Brown also recorded a save in goal as Quincy finished off another complete team effort. With the win, Quincy officially finishes conference play undefeated and claims the Big 8 Conference title, an accomplishment that reflects the team’s hard work, consistency, and growth throughout the season. The Lady O’s return home Thursday as they host Bronson for Senior Night come out and support the team as they celebrate their seniors and look to keep the momentum rolling!
