On Tuesday, May 5, the MS Orioles hit the road on a chilly evening for a tri-meet hosted by Stockbridge, with Reading also in attendance. After a long bus ride from Quincy, the Orioles wasted no time getting to work, and delivered an impressive night of competition. The Quincy boys team had an outstanding performance, defeating both Stockbridge (103 to 30) and Reading (99.5 to 29.5) in the meet standings. On the girls side, Quincy earned a win over Stockbridge (76 to 37), and came up just short against Reading (46 to 59), in a closely contested matchup. Our MS athletes have continued to show growth and resilience throughout the season. They have battled through the cold and rainy weather just about every meet, while still turning in strong performances. The coaches are proud of the effort and sportsmanship displayed by the teams. Our last regular season meet will take place on May 12, for the Quincy Invite. After that, our MS Orioles (that have qualified) will head on to Regionals and MEGASTAR.
