It was another chilly evening—nothing new for this season—as the Quincy Middle School Orioles traveled to Athens on April 30 to compete in an eight-team invitational. Despite the cold temperatures, the Orioles turned in a strong and determined performance across the board. The boys team led the way with an impressive showing, racking up 76.5 points to secure a first-place finish and bring home the championship. Spirits were high as we celebrated the first team trophy of the season. The girls team also delivered a solid performance, earning a third-place finish on the night. Competing against a talented field of teams, the girls all contributed valuable points in a variety of events. Athletes who placed in the top five were recognized for their achievements, with medals awarded to first through third place finishers and ribbons given for fourth and fifth.
