The Quincy Lady Orioles made a strong statement Tuesday night, dominating Big 8 rival Stockbridge with an emphatic 8-0 mercy-rule victory. Quincy’s offense was firing on all cylinders from the start, led by a standout performance from Laura Bostic. Bostic paced the Lady O’s with an incredible five-goal night, consistently finding the back of the net and putting the game out of reach early. Kenzi Maynard added to the offensive surge with three goals and an assist, showcasing a well-rounded attacking performance and helping Quincy maintain pressure throughout the match. The Lady Orioles also saw strong playmaking efforts across the field. Claire Carpenter dished out two assists, helping set up key scoring opportunities. Elizabeth Woodward and Alivia Carpenter each contributed an assist, highlighting Quincy’s unselfish ball movement and balanced attack. Defensively, Quincy held firm, shutting out Stockbridge and completing the all-around team performance. With the win, the Lady Orioles improve to 6-3 overall and remain undefeated in Big 8 conference play at 5-0. Quincy will look to keep the momentum going this Saturday as they host the Oriole Classic Softball Invitational beginning with Constantine at 11am.
