The MS Quincy Orioles competed in a challenging quad meet hosted by the Concord Yellowjackets on April 21, joining the Springport Spartans and Jackson Preparatory Academy for an evening of competition that tested both skill and resilience. Weather conditions proved to be one of the biggest opponents of the night. Athletes rotated between times of downpours and light rain for most of the meet. Despite the unpredictable conditions, athletes from all four teams showed determination, pushing through a wet track, wet mats, and a wet pit. Just overall, wet. While the final team scores are still being finalized, several standout moments from the evening showcased the Orioles’ competitive spirit. Personal bests, strong finishes, and consistent effort across all events reflected the team’s continued progress this season.
