Orioles Take Third at Big 8 Jamboree at Burr Oak

The Quincy Golf team competed in the second Big 8 Jamboree of the season at Burr Oak Golf Course, finishing third with a team score of 185 just 11 strokes off the top spot. Junior Jax Sergent led the way for the Orioles with a 44 posting 6 pars, a bogey and two double bogeys earning a 5th-place finish. Close behind, Senior Braylon Estlow and Freshman Carson Craven each shot 46, tying for 7th place. Senior Bo Tissue rounded out the team scoring with a 49, good for a tie for 16th. Senior Ayerdi (50, 18th) and Sophomore Daniel Burritt (60, T-40th) also competed for Quincy. The Orioles will be back in action tomorrow at the Stockbridge Jamboree at Timber Trace Golf Course.
