The Quincy Middle School Orioles traveled to face the Homer Trojans in the first dual of the season on April 15. The meet threatened monsoon-like conditions. The Orioles thought they’d be running in the rain for sure - but right as the meet started, the clouds cleared and gave way to great weather, perfect conditions for a competition. The boys team won with a score of 70 to 65, while the girls came up short, scoring 47 to Homer's 85.
